At Tri-County Electric Cooperative, we are proud of our ongoing commitment to the communities we serve as we abide by the seventh cooperative principle, “Concern for Community.” From the very beginning, electric cooperatives were formed with the commitment to improve the quality of life for those they serve. Our commitment to community exemplifies just that. One way we give back to our communities is by providing “Sharing Success” grants to non-profit organizations throughout our service area. This grant is coupled by a match from CoBank, one of our cooperative lending institutions.
Most recently we awarded a grant for $7,500 to the Scotland County Fitness Center in Memphis, for much-needed upgrades to their exercise equipment.
We were proud to partner with our power cooperative, Northeast Power, and CoBank to provide this grant to help better our communities!
