It is with profound sadness we share the passing of one of our Tri-County Electric Cooperative board members, Bill Triplett.

William “Bill” Triplett faithfully served Tri-County Electric Cooperative and the Putnam County community with dedication, integrity, and a genuine commitment to others. Since joining the board in 2007, Bill worked tirelessly to ensure members’ needs were met, earning numerous NRECA credentials that reflected his passion for strong, informed leadership. Whether serving on local boards, running his farrier business, or tending his farm, he approached every role with humility and hard work. Bill cared deeply about the wellbeing of our members and understood the real challenges facing rural families, always advocating on their behalf. His steady guidance, generous spirit, and decades of service leave a lasting impact on the cooperative and the community he loved.

Tri-County Electric will close at noon on Wednesday so we can attend Bill's service and pay our respects to his family.
