As 2025 comes to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share our gratitude for your continued support. Your commitment to Tri-County Electric makes everything we do possible, and together we are living out the seven cooperative principles that guide our mission.

    This year brought no shortage of challenges. From winter ice and snow to heavy spring rains and an unseasonably warm fall, the weather kept us on our toes. Add in higher demand for electricity and lingering supply chain issues, and 2025 tested our systems and our people. Through it all, our crews worked around the clock to strengthen infrastructure, improve response times, and keep power safe and reliable for every member. 

    In addition to daily operations, we stayed active on the legislative front, advocating for policies that protect the affordability and reliability of your electricity. Important discussions—such as ongoing EPA regulations—will continue into 2026. We encourage you to stay informed and reach out to your elected officials. When members make their voices heard, it makes a real difference.

    We’re also proud of the ways we’ve supported our communities this year, from local youth programs to economic development initiatives. At Tri-County Electric, providing electricity is only part of our mission—it’s also about being a partner in the growth and well-being of our region.

    Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be another year of progress. We will continue investing in grid resilience and exploring new technologies that improve efficiency while keeping costs manageable. We also plan to expand member outreach through community events and educational opportunities, ensuring every member understands the value of their cooperative. Together, we’ll face challenges head-on and embrace opportunities that strengthen both our cooperative and the communities we serve.
